Bios

• Susan is a retired Aerospace Engineer who has been researching since the mid-1990s. She has been using Y-DNA for a decade with traditional genealogy methods. She has scoured libraries / court houses from coast to coast looking for those golden nuggets to break down the brick walls. She is a Full admin for the Rutherford County NC Burnetts, and the Descendants of John and Lucretia Burnett, she also is a co-admin for the Jones and McFarland projects leading the second largest group of testers in each of those surname projects at FTDNA. She also founded / admins the Burnett Facebook Page and was the first admin to combine all Y-DNA tester lineages on one ancestry tree to break down brick walls. She also created the Burnett Ancestor Project at GEDmatch and is the current admin of that.
• Donald is a retired civil engineer that has been researching his families’ paternal and maternal lines since the 1980s. For 30 years he used traditional genealogical research methods to confirm and extend family trees started by other family members. For the last 3 years he has added autosomal DNA and Y-DNA testing to his toolkit and is now an administrator for the Rutherford NC Burnetts and Quigley surname projects on FamilyTreeDNA.  He is also a co-adminstrator for the Burnett Facebook Page.
